Supermodel Helena Christensen designs for Kipling’s new collection

Got my first Kipling 3 years ago and from them on I’m always waiting for new collections to come.

For its Fall 13 Collection, Kipling collaborated with supermodel Helena Christensen, forging a new, exciting range of trendy and functional tote bags and pouches that feature the respective distinctions of its designers.

One of the world’s most photographed faces, Helena Christensen’s vibrant career kicked off when she represented Denmark in   the 1986 Miss Universe pageant. She then successfully conquered the fashion world, became a photographer, a mother, and a global ambassador for an international humanitarian organization.  With travel being a key part of her work life, Kipling has been one of her companions through the years. Thus, it was only natural that this personal relationship with the brand has blossomed into a professional collaboration.

Freeway x Juan Luna Collection Launch at the Lopez Memorial Museum

Freeway has always been known for celebrating the lives of prominent Filipino Artists. This time is no different as Freeway chose to honor a man whose works of art have stood the test of time and whose masterpieces still continue to live on in the hearts of many. This man is none other than Juan Luna, Filipino Master for Visual Arts.

The event was held on October 10, 2013 at the Lopez Memorial Museum in Pasig City. It was definitely a grand fusion of art and fashion as the event was attended by several prominent figures from both ends such as fashion bloggers, art enthusiasts, critics, media and many more. Of course, the celebration of Juan Luna wouldn’t be complete without the works of Juan Luna himself. Guests were able to view a number of his key pieces through the Lopez Museum’s on going exhibit, Trajectories, which will be available for viewing until October 31, 2013. The exhibit also features the prominent works of Filipino Master Felix Hidalgo plus masterpieces of esteemed National Artists artists such as Vicente Manansala, HR Ocampo, Fernando Amorsolo among others. It is the first time in 8 years that the Lopez Memorial Museum has had a lineup of historic greats such as these.

As a homeowner taking care of your family’s welfare and safety, you need to be assured that the building material you’re using for your house is good enough; you need it to be strong against harsh weather, termites, and other potential causes of damage; and you need it to be durable and long-lasting. Your family deserves nothing less.
